THE LITTLE TEQUILA BRAND THAT HAS CAPTURED THE HEARTS OF PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD!

Mascota Ultra-Premium Tequila, was born from ‘just an idea’ of creating a liquor brand that would raise awareness for pet adoption along with funds for animal shelters and animal rescue organizations.  Mascota Tequila is led by its Founder, Entrepreneur and Businesswoman Victoria Araceli Vann, who had the vision to create a one-of-a-kind brand that would be instantly recognizable throughout the world, and one that stood as a symbol of hope for animals in need.

“This is my passion project, and while searching for inspiration to create this special product, I found it through two of my favorite things, my love of animals, and the deep, rich culture and historic tradition of Mexico, by way of tequila! So, I love animals and tequila, and I came up with the idea of creating a one-of-a-kind liquor product that would be created in the shape of a dog, because why not?  It would contain the best quality tequila, because only the best will do, and it will have eye-catching designs and colors, be packaged in its very own unique doghouse box, and then finally be dressed with a real metal dog tag, in the shape of a dog bone; and I thought all this would resemble your very own pet....or mascot, hence the name I chose; Mascota, which in Spanish translates to pet, or mascot; an animal that is loved and kept as a companion, or a friend.  

Just as important as the brand packaging, was sourcing the best tequila for Mascota.  On a chance meeting I met Melly Barajas, owner and female Master Tequila Distiller of the award winning Vinos y Licores Azteca, (NOM 1533), and immediately we struck up a friendship. After meeting with Melly for the first time, I learned that her tequila distillery is 100% owned and operated completely by women, which is very unique in and of itself, and that she, like myself, is also an animal advocate, and has been rescuing animals off of the streets of Mexico, and finding homes for them for over 20 years!  I truly believe that we were brought together by a Divine connection, to help me in moving forward with my mission.    

I launched Mascota Tequila in late 2021, online from just one little liquor store in California, and after the soft launch of the brand, all I could do is hope for the best. I knew Mascota Tequila was special, but I wondered if people would actually care about a little tequila brand that was created to help animals?  Within a week of introducing Mascota, I realized they did, and everything completely changed.  

People started to see this little tequila brand called “Mascota” online, and they began sharing the story with others along with pictures throughout the world, which created a firestorm of love and support!  I couldn’t believe the response, as my little Mascota baby had captured the hearts of people literally everywhere around the world, all wanting to help lend support to our cause, which is all about giving back.  Orders began flooding in and all of our shipments of Mascota Tequila had completely sold out in record time, creating a huge demand for the product worldwide. 

Phone calls and emails from customers, retailers, distributors, and the press have been pouring in, including calls from buyers at huge chain stores throughout the United States, and to my surprise, the brand had organically garnered thousands and thousands of actual animal brand ambassadors (actual dogs & cats), all posed with their Mascota Tequila Bottles!  The photos were sent in to me and shared on our website and social media accounts for everyone to see, lending further support to the brand because then these photos were shared to millions of followers on various additional social media accounts, because many of these animal brand ambassadors have their own social media accounts.  All these beautiful angels are all now Official Mascota Tequila Mascots, and we discover more and more each and every day!

Mascota Tequila is not the typical liquor brand, it’s more of a movement by passionate people that all love animals and want to be involved in our mission!  From the largest retail chain stores and distributors to the smallest independent mom and pop shops, to restaurants and bars, to animal lovers to shelters and rescues, to people from all walks of life from all around the world, Mascota Tequila has made an impact!  They love and want the brand!  Wow!  My thoughts are.....What a Blessing!  In moving forward, I am now opening distribution in key markets and ramping up inventory as much as possible, to help meet the demand. 

What started out as a small idea of wanting to help animals has now become a brand of the people, and more importantly a brand that speaks for millions and millions of animals across the world that have no voice, and little to no hope given their situations oftentimes.  It is our duty as human beings to make the world a better place for all, which brings me to a quote that so dearly and clearly speaks to my heart, and maybe it will speak to yours as well, and that quote is; “You have not lived today, until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.” -John Bunyan
